Empowering women to thrive through motherhood and work

Becoming a mother is a transformative experience—emotionally, physically, and professionally. Maternity coaching is tailored to support women through this life-changing transition, helping them navigate maternity leave, the return to work, and everything in between. It’s about honouring the new identity of motherhood while keeping space for ambition, confidence, and professional growth.

What is maternity coaching?
Maternity coaching is a specialist form of support for women before, during, and after maternity leave. It focuses on helping mothers manage the emotional, logistical, and career-related changes that come with parenthood—offering a safe, structured space to explore challenges, find clarity, and make empowered decisions.

Whether you’re preparing to step away from work, returning after time off, or re-evaluating your professional path, maternity coaching offers the tools and space to do so confidently.

Key areas of focus

1) Support through transition: Adjusting to life as a working parent can be overwhelming. Coaching supports women as they navigate identity shifts, emotional ups and downs, and the many moving parts of early parenthood—helping them feel grounded and clear.

2) Career Planning & Confidence: Together, we explore career goals, practical considerations like childcare and flexible working, and the confidence to advocate for what you need. Many women experience self-doubt or isolation—coaching helps rebuild belief in your strengths and create a plan that works for you.

3) Practical Tools & Strategies:
From planning handovers to preparing for key career conversations, maternity coaching offers actionable support. Whether it’s using Keeping in Touch (KIT) days effectively, setting boundaries, or managing your time in a new way, we’ll create sustainable strategies that support both work and home life.

How it works

Maternity coaching is typically offered in a series of 60–90 minute sessions and is fully tailored to your needs. It often includes:

Post-return Coaching: Managing the return to work with confidence, balancing responsibilities, and focusing on your long-term growth.

Pre-leave Coaching: Preparing practically and emotionally for leave, planning transitions, and setting intentions.

During Leave: Staying connected (if desired) through light-touch support or KIT day planning.
